Sue is much more knowledgable about Radcliffe's than I am - as you can see from her comments Radcliffe name is strongly associated with North of Island from whence the Ohio emigration came - based on hunch rather than serious legwork then a first emigration to Canada might well indicate a south-side Manx as most of the Canadaian emigrants I have seen were from the south - however have a look at my emigration page http://www.isle-of-man.com/manxnotebook/famhist/genealgy/emig.htm .
It was very unusual for native-born Manx to be Roman catholic at about this period - most RC's were Irish immigrants and then later those who married the children of such. Catholic baptisms were almost always within days of the birth (as were indeed most Manx until early 19th C when middle class manners aped more those of England) - 'adult' baptisms would be marked as such in any Catholic records
