JOHN MCHOOD

JOHN MCHOOD PAID 100 POUNDS FOR A SEAT IN THE DOUGLAS CHAPEL 1765. NEED INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PERSON. I AM RELATED TO A SAMUEL MCHOOD WHO WAS IN SOUTH CAROLINA, AMERICA IN 1760 AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND WHERE MY MCHOOD CAME FROM. LETTERS TO THE HISTORIAN ON THE ISLE OF MANN CAME BACK WITH THIS SENTENCE:" THERE IS NO RECORD OF ANY MCHOOD EVER BEING ON THE ISLE OF MANN. "

LATTER DAY SAINTS RECORDS INDICATE MANY MCHOODS WERE CHRISTENED OR BAPTISED ON THE ISLE OF MANN. ADDITIONAL CORRESPONDENCE TO THE HISTORIAN WERE ALL ANSWERED WITH THE SAME SENTENCE: THERE IS NO RECORD, ETC.,.

ANY INFORMATION OR LEADS WOULD BE APPRECIATED; ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THERE WAS A JOSEPH MCHOOD WHO LIVED IN CONNECTICUT, AMERICA IN 1770 AND WHO FOUGHT IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR (COLONIES AGAINST ENGLAND) HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THAT MCHOOD. I CAN AND WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION ON ALL THE MCHOODS IN AMERICA FROM 1765 TO THIS DATE IS RESPONDENTS WISH THAT INFORMATION. THANKS JOHN ST.LOUIS, MISSOURI AMERICA
