Regarding Kempton, Illinois and Corkill - I have a 1924 photo (courtesy of my cousins and good friends in Austriala - Adrian and Julie Kermode) of a 1924 reunion in Kempton which includes a Mrs. John P. Corkill. This is a Cowley reunion. Kemption, Galva, and Brimfield (all in Illinois) were areas where Manx immigrants settled. My family is the Cowley family from Ballaugh, IOM.
