Bruce, I have no idea when John Skillicorn (b.1752)died. I have info from various sites that I keep and slowly try to verify but it seems the info out there is a jumble.
I have these sons to Bessie that it appears she never had but how do I find the real parents.? John's brother Philip married Ann Kerruish ( daughter of Dan. Kerruish and Marg. Costean) John apparently married and had children .Where do they belong?
To make things worse, I had info from Lois on this site that Bessie's husband John (b.1725) did not have the parents listed on most sites as as John and Katherine Skillicorn. Rather, his parents were Thomas Skillicorn and Margaret Clarke.
Bessie/ Elizabeth remarried after John's death to Philip Kinley. Her will of Jan 1792/3 states Elizabeth Kinley als Fargher als Skillicorn.I don't have a lot of access to records so hope a little light can be shed on some of this, as I do not want to go chasing the wrong line.Thank you
