When did John Skillicorn die?
There are no burials of a John Skillicorn between 1750 and 1772 nor for an Elizabeth between 1721 and 1762.
Also there is a decree on film number 0106397 (see Brian's site). John Skillicorn died in 1782 and was buried in Lonan on January 13 1782. The court left his effects to his three children, John, Phillip and Jane (married to John Corkill).
The Lonan parish records on the IGI seem pretty patchy. The marriage to Bessie is a submission and I saw no record for Jane.
