My recollections of talking with Noreen was that her father had emigrated earlier (tho I may well be mistaken here but I think I recall Noreen saying they were naturalised Americans but she was born there), his first wife I thought had died in America and he came back to Peel for his second wife (who I thought was related in some way to the first) - they were married in New York (presumeably just off the boat) - Noreen and her mother returned to Peel for an extended stay (I remember Noreen showing me some photo as it related to Atholl St chapel which was the basis of this remembered conversation) - the emigration record you have above is I think their return back home.
Her grandfather had been boatman in Peel and I think ran the ferry across to the Castle steps.
