I followed up your lead and checked on the 1891 IOM census and found John James Quine 1865, Margaret Quine 1831, and Thomas Quine 1867, now living in Agnesh ref RG 12/4686.

At this time my James Edward Quine was living in the civil parish of Everton, Liverpool aged 28 place of birth IOM Laxey.
