HUTCHIN/HUDGEON/HUDSON/HIGGIN/HIGGINS
In Response To: Re: Help with HUTCHIN ()

There is a Ballahutchin at Dalby, and another now called Glenlough in Marown.
The family of the latter were members of the House of Keys and so on in the 17th century. They sold Ballahutchen 1637 and moved to Douglas where they carried on.
In 1705 there was a William Huggin, porter [descendants Higgins] and Henry hutchin [descendants Hudgeon] living next door to each other, in what is now King Street.
