Yes, baptised at Maughold 25th March 1838, but the parents were gven as John Kerruish and Margaret Looney. The Maughold baptisms at this time, and perhaps the other registers too, are full of mistakes. My theory is that the Parish Clerk did not bother to ask for full particulars as he knew the families, but got it wrong sometimes. Constance Radcliffe includes this Jane on her tree of Kerruish, Booilevelt, as a child of John K and Catherine L, but marks her with a "d" to indicate that she died young. There was no replacement Jane later on.

Has anyone found this family in 1841? Applying the 1841 roundings, we should find John 40, Catherine 30, Catherine 5 and possibly other infants.
