I suspect the film of, for example, the NSS index book will sorely disappoint you - it is a film of the pages of a large ledger giving year by year the deeds registered - the names of the parties (and that can be confusing if the coroner is concerned) and as Sue says 'contract' but no other details - the entries are under the date of registration which in my experience can be several years after the sale. The deeds are only accessible in the Manx museum - they are not on microfilm - a few appear to have gone missing in transfer to the museum.
