All the ones which I thought were marriage contracts in the indexes turned out to be so.
The two names are bracketed together followed by "contract" and the number, under the month and year.
Other entries say, for example, Kneal Wm to Edm Quark, which are clearly land transfers.
I found them very useful because they usually give both parents' names at a time when often only the father's name was given at baptism.
