The Schofields (a very non-Manx name !) were a well known family in Castletown - I have obit of Robert Schofield in Manx Quarterly who served as an apprentice with Flaxney Stowell.
I wonder of Jane Schofield is second wife - if so is there a burial record for first wife (mother of Flaxney).
