The Braddan parish registers on LDS film no 106708 are marked:
MSL 5
F. Isle of Man
B2, pt 1
Each page is stamped:
"Registry of Deeds, Official Copy.
PARISH REGISTER OF BRADDAN"
The first volume starts:
"This Register contains the Baptisms from the year 1626- to 1712
Then follow Marriages from 1683 to 1712
Then Burials from 1624 to 1712
Then follow Baptisms again from 1779 to - "
Following the burial entry for June 18th 1712 is written:
"N.B. The other Regr now begins.
Pursuant to the Rt. Revd. Father in God Mark Lord Bishop of Sodor & Mann Order of Visitation bearing date June 1st 1758 - the beforegoing Regr of Baptisms, Marriages & Burials were Transcribed out of the old Parish Regrs, whose date it bears and accordingly was faithfully examined & compared with the sd old Regrs as Certifyd by us this 25th Day of Janry 1760.

Following the end of the 1779 Baptisms is written "For the following Baptisms hencefor see the other Folio Register with a Red Cover".
The film includes several volumes, frequently not in date order. The last volume of baptisms ends in 1848.
Would someone please tell me whether this is the same film as the one used by researchers at the Manx Museum?
Brian, what is the 1910 "Official Copy", and is it another handwritten one? The first volume on this film clearly says it is from 1760.
Thanks,
Sue
