Todd (aka,Kelly) Orphans - Mid 1880's

I am researching the IOM family of Sarah Todd (possibly, aka Kelly), born abt 1877. She and her younger siblings, including her sister Johannah, were placed in an orphanage after the drowning at sea of their father and brother in the mid to late 1880's.

Sarah Todd (Kelly) never saw her family after they were separated at the Isle of Man Home for Orphan & Destitute Children and sent to Canada's Quarrier 'home' at Fairknowe, in May 1887 and indentured in 1895.

We do not know the names of either parent or siblings other than her sister Johannah. Orphanage records show 'father drowned in Douglas Bay, mother resides at Post Office Lane (Douglas).' She was just: "Sarah Kelly from the Isle of Man--Orphan!"

Recent information has surfaced that has shown her surname was, more than likely, Sarah Todd!

Please help me find some information on this family? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My thanks to Berni Weyde for her response to an earlier querie.
