Thank you so much for all this information, It does appear that William May not have been born to Robina and John after all, Which in theory would mean he is not biologically a Lyall in that instance. I do see that Catherine sharp has two children recorded as William henry one in 1870 and my William which I believe was born in 1886. Have you any insight into this?
