The email didn't come till today that anyone had responded to my post, so I apologize for the delay
I found a rough birthdate of William Corkill Oct 4 1841 from what is listed on the headstone.
I then found his baptism, which I am presuming to be him a few days later here, which is where I got his Dad's wife's name of Elinor, but I have also seen Elenor on various other sites and in the 1851 census, which I can't upload because it's over 100 kb.
I can see his father farmed 35 acres and was born in German, Isle of Man.
From here I cannot go further, though you may have. I had at one time found a record of John Corkill and Jane Gell as parents I believe Great Grandparents of his.
This may be his father, William Corkill, his parents Thomas Corkill and Ann Crellin as according to here:

His father was born in 1815. I cannot find census or marriage records showing which is the correct.
Trying to sort this can be dizzying at times.

If you can provide the links of ways you found your sources, that would be great.
You can also email them to me because the site has trouble with url links and uploads at j_lira (at for @) lira.com.
What is also so that they did not record births, but only baptisms and marriages on the Isle of Man during this time?
