My wife has De Meza/Demeza/De Mesa/Demesa/Demezer in her line, Annie Demeza b 1837 Manchester, Lancashire, UK was the last of that name, she moved to the Isle Of Man and married there.. The line starts in London with Isaac De Meza ( Born unknown) and his son Solomon Ch 2/8/1713 , St Dunstan Church, Stepney, London.who became a Paper Maker.
I found that 13 people named De Meza are listed on the "Book of the Dead" at the Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Assume these people were from Holland.
Does your line go back to Isaac or Solomon ?
