A little bit more history. there were still Demeza's in Holland during WW2 there are 13 listed in the book of the dead at Buchenwald. 8 years ago I knew of a Demeza still living in Amsterdam, getting old with no sons he believed he was the end of the thread.
Around 1860 a Chritian Julius Demeza was a high ranking military person in Denmark who fought during the Danish/Germany war. I think he was a Lt General anyway he is still honoured today with few streets named after him even a football team.
