This is part of the dedication to "John Mylchrist" and the cover of the book Pilgrim's Progress given as thanks. The John Mylchreest mentioned was probably James Mylchreest my great grandfather's eldest brother. He is referred to as Corrin in the newspaper reports from September 1874. James Mylchreest 1861-1924 was Thomas Mylchreest and Esther Corrin's eldest child.
