I noticed that the oldest children of Hugh Arthur were baptised in Malew (William 1707 and John 1709), then the younger ones (mother named as Susannah) were baptised in Santon (Isabel 1715, Catherine 1717 and Hugh 1718). Since Hugh and Susannah were married in 1703 in Malew, it’s likely that Susannah alias Aspinall was the mother of William and John, and that there’s a useful gap between 1709 and 1715 to allow for possibly 2 more births---this could be Susannah Kelly nee Arthur’s slot.

Frances, your suggestion looks to be a strong possibility.
