I only have the index to 1901 done by late Brian Lawson - one problem is that he often expanded names so a misread Mary may be read as Margt and them extended to Margaret

you should be able to buy access to 1901 but if your cousin is still on Island just call into the Manx Museum - also should check for any MIs to the Charneys buried in Douglas Borough cemetery
