Not sure whether these following Contracts - are your - John Kneen & Jane Camaish ???
Did the MAUGHOLD written on their Marriage... mean that BOTH were from Maughold ??? – there was no – OTP (of this Parish, written after John Kneen).

NSS Oct 1761 29 Mary Corkil + Wm Christian her. Jno Kneen obligation [damaged, top missing + torn into 4 - date lost]ack dated 15 Jun 1757;recites. that Wm Corkill of Fallew? sold a parcel of lands to Jon Kneen(Maughold) deed dated 24 Jul 1750? [?NSS May 1753 42] part of which was mortgaged with. result that Kneen has not as yet gained possession of all his purchase tho entered for same for wch he paid £7 - "by + thro the convolutions and sinister. inventions of sd Wm Corkill and Jas Corkill his father" and forasmuch as Wm Corkill did subsequent to sale settle all lands on only child Mary to deprive. Kneen and others of their money laid out on lands - thus to avoid future lawsuits Mary Corkill + my own appointed guardian Wm Christian oblige myself. By time I reach 21 yrs to put Kneen back into lawful possession;Witt Wm radclidd, Nichs Cowley;
