Re: Kilpack or Kissack?

Hi Narelle

Good that you found that burial , as it is not on the Lawson List of burials, I had checked all female Kneen burials for a name variation as I did not think Mira/Mirra would be a correct name , Myra makes more sense. Margaret Elizabeth appears to have been buried in Lonan 16/2/1879 aged 9. I could not find George or Margaret Elizabeth on 1871 census.
I looked yesterday trying to find George arriving in Sydney , but could not find him as an immigrant, but today found him arriving as crew from London twice , then joining the Coastal Ships:
'Aconcagua' London to Sydney age 27 10/7/1878 Fireman from Isle of Man
"Aconcagua" London to Sydney age 28 13/6/1879 Fireman from Isle of Man
"Wotonga" Melbourne to Sydney age 28 15/2/1880 Fireman from Britain.
"City of Adelaide" Melbourne to Sydney age 25 13/12/1880 Fireman from Douglas
"City of Adelaide" Melbourne to Sydney age 28 21/1/1881 Fireman British
"City of Adelaide" Melbourne to Sydney age 28 28/1/1881 Fireman British
"City of Adelaide" Melbourne to Sydney age 28 12/2/1881 Fireman British
"Katoomba" Brisbane to Sydney, age 30 15/9/1882, Trimmer , British

So he was still crew on ships after he married Annie

Cheers
David
