As far as I can read, the link to the court record is earlier in this thread, it just establishes paternity and payments to be made.

The Malew baptism mentions Castleward for the father's address. This is quite confusing for the following reason. In 1861 there was a family of the same surname in Castleward, Braddan who have a b 1856 Onchan son Robert. Parents are John & Mary. Father was a labourer they moved around in the Braddan/Onchan area.

Must be a coincidence as we looking for a Robert son of Robert bc 1856 Castletown area.
