in 1679 composition book (p 293 in bound volume) is
"Jo Tubman for xvid [16d] rent cottage 3s fine and lives the sd[said] Jo & Ellin his wife and Math his sonn all in being"

the 3 lives unless otherwise stated should be those in the 1643 composition ie Math had to be born prior to 1643 (generally a few years earlier as infant mortality was common) there is no 1666 composition for John - the 1643 book is not only damaged and repaired by tissue paper obscuring the text which is both very very untidy and cramped on page wither overwrites etc but I can't find any comp that matches - nor can I find it in the 1691 book which reviewed all such compositions for lives still living - however I'm still working on these books - I'd left Malew to end as largest lists
