It wasn't until I started backtracking that I realised just how long ago we were trying to join up the Teare's and Cunliffe's - 2011 !!
How time flies when you're off trying to break down a brick wall! Mine has been my paternal grandfather, who disappeared off the radar back in 1939.
Now I know where and who he married and where he died - just now need to find where he is buried!

Anyway, not a lot of progress with the Teare's other than it seems I was wrong about the house on the front in Peel, unless they moved from one house to another near by! It appears that Stanley House is the 3rd from the far end from the tennis courts in the terraced red bricked boarding houses/hotels on Marine Parade, Peel. Emma Jane Teare and Lydia Mary Teare sold Stanley House on the 14th of October 1950.

I still haven't been able to link these two Teare's to my great grandmother Ellen Teare from Bride.

Have either of you had any success?
