the marriage was in Jurby (the parish of Cath) - John Quayle came from Kk Michael a parish to the south (witnesses were John Hughes + Thos Quayle)

They had a large family all baptised in Kk Michael most of whom emigrated to Ohio on the Chili in 1827 (see www.manxnotebook.com) when John aged 50 was described as farmer(A Jane + Ann died on Island)

Cath was I think baptised in Ballaugh 4 Feb 1780 d/o John Mughtin + Anne Cowley
