it is generally assumed that qtrlands originally formed part of a treen (and did not straddle boundaries) - the treen presumed to be a Norse or even earlier land division remained part of the Stanley taxation scheme tho seemed to be only a book-keeping aid - but transfers between tenants/landowners took place for various reasons - post 1702 these should all be recorded as a deed, pre this period there might well be a record in Lib canc (tho I'd also expect to see a note in Lib Vas)
