FROM AN OLD DICTIONARY I FOUND THAT A KEIG WAS A WOODEN HORN USED BEFORE 1801 ALTHOUGH THE OLDEST USAGE OF MY SURNAME WAS A LADY NAMED CHRISTIAN MC KEIGHEN WHO MARRIED JOHN GRAHAM IN AUGUST OF 1733 IN STERLING, SCOTLAND...OUR FAMILY CAME TO AMERICA IN EITHER 1799 OR 1800...HOPE THIS HELPS---BILL
