Re: Perhaps not Guthrie
In Response To: Perhaps not Guthrie ()

Thorn sold all his premises in in 1729 (2 deeds May 1730) most to Phillip Moore + Anthony Whiteside with the garden on sandside to James Killey, Moore + Whiteside divided their larger holding bought from Thorn in 1740 - Moore is to have house and garden on south end adj rent of Christopher Callow wch house is now in possession of Robt LeMothe together with intack fronting house towards sea as also the house now built towards the north end of the building in the holding of Mrs? Mary Peil with intack fronting seaward together with half the stable adj rent of Thomas Clark;Whiteside to have large middle house, yard, garden and ground back of Mrs Mary Piel lately in holding of Mr Rowland Bancks together with other half of stable wch is to be divided by a wall built at equal expense + intack on sandy ground as faces house eastward;

wonder if Robt LeMoth was connected to later Lamothes ?

suspect any gutter is likely to originate from this division ?
