Col, I will be interested how you get on with the info on Ballamona as I thought the records were not available. my grandfather died when my mother was a teenager & he only had one sibling, a sister who I've learnt from research died in Ballamona. I have her death cert but it doesn't say why she was in the institution. Growing up I knew nothing of this great aunt Laura so I feel sorry for her . If she was visited by my grandmother it was kept from me.
