This is an example from Cupar, Fife, baptisms 1793 4 April "Jean daur to Andrw Christie Writer and Margaret Dempster Child born the third of the month".
Then: married "1817 13 July Aitken, John son of Col. George Aitken & Miss Jane Christie daur of Andrew Christie Esq".
