Ian Radcliffe had no access to the FHS website for several years because of the way it had been set up, so reconstructed the wills area on his own website so that he could reload many of the wills which had disappeared, as well as adding new transcripts: www.mannincloud.info/indexes/_will_index.html

Jim Smith, in particular, is in the process of adding thousands of transcripts.

The plan is still to transfer all transcripts to the Main (FHS) wills site when Ian has completed the rebuild. He writes: "The majority of the transcribed wills reside on the Isle of Man Family History Society site, and the link [through his website, above] will take you to that site".
