I'm trying to find the parents of my 3rd great-grandfather, Henry 'Harry' Cannell. According to records and his gravestone, he came to the United States in 1854 from the Isle of Man. He was married in Illinois to an unknown woman. In Illinois, my 2nd great grandfather was born, Charles Seymour Cannell. It appears Charles Seymour and his wife, Margaret Ray lived in Colorado and Michigan for a while. My great grandfather, Wesley McCoy Cannell, was born in Colorado. Colorado is also where My 3rd great grandfather, Harry, died. The Cannell's ended up settling in Missouri where Charles Seymour, Margaret ray, and Wesley McCoy are all now buried. On my 3rd great grandfathers gravestone it lists his birth as September 1st 1830 and his place of birth as Kirk Michael, Isle of Man. His father was John Cannell and his mother Elinor Cain(e). I'm having a very difficult time trying to figure out who John Cannell and Elinor Caine's parents were. I think I found them on a census for 1841 and there is a Henry around the same age as my Henry. This would put john and elinor being born around 1795. According to the census of 1841:
