I am a relation to Esther and James, however I have different information, James Camash and Esther Gordon arrived as free settlers from 'Isle of Man' on the 'Adam Lodge' in August 1841. They worked as Shepherds for Mr.Dawson before selecting land on the route to Rouchel, Campbell's Creek land, James died and Esther re married unsure to whom however her name was then Esther Riley. James and Esther had a child named Esther Camash 1845-1880 and married Henry Archinal (Heinrich) from Germany 1845-1914. James and Esther were among the first to settle in Goorangoola, NSW. There is a book written about the following people and there town it is called: Time's Subjects, The Story of Goorangoola, by A.J.Greenhalgh. I hope this helps Henry Archinal is my 3rd great grandfather.
