Looking closely, the form was filled in by 2 different people. In dark ink, in writing which looks as though it was done by someone who isn't used to handwriting, is the majority of the information, including much crossing out, plus a lack of understanding in relation to the number of children column which should state 9, not 5. Also, Thompson is spelt both with and without the p. The bottom right of the form (where the signature and address should be) has been left blank. Then, in light ink and a well-formed hand, there's the enumerator's contribution. He's written Glasgow beside Scotland for JDT's birthplace (JDT was actually born in Kirkinner, Wigtown). Next to AT's birthplace of Isle of Man, he's written Port Erin.
Did the enumerator accept the partially completed form from the Thompsons and later add some details to make it as complete as he could ? I believe that the "Ramsey" birthplace for Annie in the 1901 census has more credibility than the "Port Erin" in 1911.
