After seeing your file on the Croggane family I agree with you that John Radcliffe bapt 24 July 1814 in Lezayre is the most likely JR to be the father in those two censuses (1851 & 61), where he said he was born in Andreas. He may well have been born in Andreas where the family was living, and his mother Jane Kewney who was from Lezayre took her eldest child (and her next son) back to Lezayre to her familiar church to be baptised - and where she and husband John Radcliffe (b.1786) had been married. It makes sense!
