I'm looking for information for my father in law who has relatives on both his father and mothers side called Radcliffe from Croggane. I have good information on the tree of Patrick Radcliffe, whose daughter Emma married William Wharton (1886) and are my father in laws grandparents. The mystery is his other grandfather, Thomas Radcliffe, who on the census returns show was born in Peel. He married Jane Harrison from Manchester and worked in the docks in Liverpool. He had a sister Catherine who married an Austrian called Alfred Gwinner and lived in Liverpool. My father in law believes his parents were 'cousins' but to what degrees I cannot establish. So any information on Thomas, Catherine and their parents/siblings would be appreciated by both me and my father in law how is 90 years old and keen to find his heritage.
