Her christening date is 1868, which matches the date of birth on the 1900 census, but the New Jersey marriage record gives her year of birth as 1866. Transcription error, or was the birth date on the marriage just a minor fib to be older to get married?

I don't know if this is the Robert Peel who was married to Eleanor, but I've found, and added, a Philadelphia, PA death record for a Robert Peel, born Ireland, who died on 26, Jan, 1914 and was buried on 29 Jan. 1914. His parent's names listed were Oliver Peel and Mary Gray.
The index record, below, doesn't list the cemetery, but the death certificate image gives his place of burial in Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA

In the 1920 Philadelphia, PA census, Eleanor Peel is listed as a widow.
