Thank you - Thank you - Thank you, Carol G. - I thought I was going to have to plough through all the Census for Patrick - and with my luck it would have been on the very last page.

To prepare your photos/Documents/Certificates to go on the Manxboard,
They must be 100 KB or smaller, I try for 90 – 95 KB – you can use any size 100 KB or less.

Scan and save your photo on your computer.
Go to where you have saved the photo.
Check the size by holding the mouse over the photo, a small box will appear showing how many KB it has.

a census image is 766 KB

p.s. I always send a copy to my Documents – and then you still have the original for later use if needed.

Use your photo editing program to CROP or RESIZE the photo until it is 100 KB or less. (I use both crop and resize if needed)
If it is small you won't need to CROP or RESIZE as long as it is 100 KB or less.

Go to Manxboard as usual – enter your text as usual - to upload the photo – click on the Browse button.
It will go to your computer – find the photo and double click on it.

It will show up on the page as – a line of numbers - this is ok.

Go to preview and then you will see how it will look on the website page.
