they seem to be in greenock in 1916, philip henry quayle signed up for ww1 in 1916 and he was married to a francis clark a widow on 2oth june 1916 in peel and address given for greenock is 21 lynedoch st there are 2 children listed and they are hugh elder born 17 th march 1913 and i wonder if his surname is clark? then there is a phyllis muriel born 10th april 1917, it looks like phillip signed up on 27th nov 1916
