Dear Mr. Crowe,
Have not posted in many months, Mother passed away, and I have been in doldrums, and not well, I am now trying to arrive in the Fall, finding where the Farms are that we have looked at for our stay, I really have not felt like coming now that Mother is passed away, now three months on the18th, I just decided to jump on after months, to see what was being posted and this will of a Miss Corlett, Ballaugh came to my attention. I know that many still state my heritage is not off the Isle, and the Bible has still not been found, but as always I will not go against my relatives that have seen the Bible and know what was in it. I AM NOT WELL at this point to travel. but under the weather. I have not written to any post as stated in quite some time, Miss Coakley has been quite kind to me and I shall not state how, but very kind. I am wanting to know about this will of this Miss Corlett, I did post ANNE CORLETT, WIFE OF ADAM CAINE on the wills of KAIGHAN, I think that is the right spelling, I have downloaded every will on that sight that pertains to CAIN-E'S - CORLETT, whether in my line or not. I have responded to a CORLETT in Ballaugh, but I have not seen this will you speak of, but I have not been to the wills in quite some time. I have much with illness and passing of Mother. I do know that a relative has gone into more depth, which I will be speaking with that person tomorrow, I have been set back now some 6 years in coming to the Isle, I don't know that it is a plan of fate or just whatever it is, for we have so many setbacks. I still have plans again to make it in the FALL. which is why I ask, also about this Letter which you speak of also about the CURLETT who left the Isle to come to AMERICA, not a CAIN, but a CURLETT. and that the letter would be a piece of history, which I quite agree, which would give insight to where some the ancestry of this line went, for it is stated perhaps our PATRICK CAINE, WAS IRISH AND NOT ILSE OF MAN. I DARESAY, that the RELATIVES WHO HAVE SEEN THE BIBLE WILL REFUTE THAT. I HAVE ONE ANCIENT relative still living, who is doing much to research, but is not well. We have really had a very hard time with sharing among the other side of the family.
If you could respond about the Miss Corlett will I would greatly appreciate it.
Kindly yours,
Mrs. Rosa
