Yes, I couldn't agree more. Those amazing spinster aunts who remember every niece and nephew, the names of their husbands/wives, and each of their children, as well as cousins and how they are related.

The will you mention will have been that of Joney Lace made 11 Jan.1788? I only took notes from it (pre-Brian's index) but it is worth quoting as an example. My additions are in square brackets:
