Elizabeth seems to have been quite a character. She used at least 3 last names and expect all of her children were illegimate. I have not found any marriage for Elizabeth to anyone with the surnames she used. I agree the 1871 census you quoted is ELizabeth. Emily her niece is the dau of her brother John and Isabella Goldsmith. It is interesting that when Alma marr she used the name Corlett and listed Thomas Arthur Corlett as her father. ELizabeth dies in 1898 in Salford A/M/J quarter of 1898. She was buried as Elizabeth Goldsmith. John James Goldsmith dies in 1902 A/M/J quarter.
