the key is 1851 - Ballacraa Lezayre (Ballacraa is the boundary to Lezayre Glebe land) - Hugh is farming 15ac (ie little more than a smallholding) + also Parish clerk with a large family - wife Elizth Clark - James as 3 in 1851 and the youngest - Hugh d aged 45 bur Lezayre 18510814.
Hugh was son of Wm Joughin - at BallaCre in 1841 (same farm but spelling changes a bit) - Wm was also Parish Clerk in his time judging from the marriage reg - Wm was it seems a widower in 1841 - buried age 87 Lezayre 18471004 - wife Margrt Corlett - this is where the problems start thanks to the IGI all Corlett entries are patron submitted (many of which esp earlier ones are guesses - you need to look at the actual films to be on sure ground)
I suspect the Joughins were not native to Lezayre but came from Bride - possibly acquiring the land via marriage
