Hi
If he was christened as a baby in 1815 he would probably not show as 67 in 1881 or 68 in 1882. There is some consistency here, so I would remain sceptical aabout the 1815 baptism.
If I was you, I would look at the following;-
1. All the Thomas Christians in the 1841 Census
2. All the Christian couples having children in Ramsey 5 years either side of Thomas's supposed age
3. All the presentments in Maughold and Ramsey a couple of years either side, looking for any affiliation on a Christian man, or child of a Christian girl
This exercise will reveal the true scale of the problem, you can then gradually work on each lead, seeing if anything clicks with a location where Thomas was living later.
My experience is that every line eventually yields up some clue.
My 3rd great grandmother's sister was married to a Christian in Ramsey, I'm sure it has been on this noticeboard. Look up Corkill of Ramsey.

Thomas died in Ramsey 5.2.1882 aged 68
So from the census returns Thomas was born sometime between 1813 and 1819 and from the names of Thomas children, I believe the likeliest candidates for his parents are William and Jane whose son Thomas was christened in 1815 at Ramsey.
So, does anyone agree that it is safe to assume these parents? I would appreciate any advice and comments. Many th
