Thank you for the advice, Nigel. I know people say you should never "assume" but I think that is all I am left with. I don't know of any relations to my Thomas other than his children. He was indeed an "Ag Lab", so I cannot find him on the 1841 census but on his marriage entry it says he is of the parish of Andreas. The witnesses at his wedding were Edward Christian and William Logan and the other census entries are in Maughold and Ramsey. I have a copy of the death certificate.and the information is given by his son William who lived close to Thomas all his life. So it looks as if I have reached the end of the journey to find the rest of my Christian ancestors.
