You mention Thomas Kneen - is he the one that married Catherine Kneen (daughter of Daniel and Isabella) or a different one (they were 2nd cousins as far as I can see)? Is Daniel and Isabella's cottage 30 Bowring Road? Thomas and Catherine Kneen were there in the 1881 census, I think.
I would very much like to know more about these ancestors and their life in Ramsey. I think the last part of your post might have been missing (re: more on the Callows and N Ramsey) - could you please point me in the right direction?
