should also add - if Richard was eldest son then if father Thomas had any land he should inherit - if setting quest passed to another son due to his absence there should have been a note 'reserving rights if any be etc' - thus looks as if his father Thomas was a younger bro ? - which then leadsto question what happened to the other Thomas ? why no will ? or am I staring it in the face ?
