That was the marriage wording that I had from the parish record, but with some others suggesting that the father of John Kermode may have been William not Daniel; I was concerned that perhaps the registry had inverted the father (Daniel) vs the witness (William), but until I am convinced otherwise will go with what the registry states. There is a Lonan marriage registration for William Kermode & Isabell Kewley (31 May 1822) with witnesses Thomas Corrin and Thos Kerruish, but it does not provide information for the parents of the bride and groom.
